| BUZZY (Buzby)
Harborlight’s Latest BuzzFebruary 28, 2005 – April 26, 2018
From the very first night, when we brought Buzzy home, he’shad a special bond with Briana. We thought that he would sleep
in our room but nope, he chose hers and a great friendship was begun. He would always get up,
to greet her even as his back legs began getting weak.
Buzzy was a kind, sweet dog, very empathic and fond of people. He always knew when you were sad or a bit off and needed a head to pet. He’d come over and lay his head on your lap and look at you with his eyes that seemed to say ‘everything’s going to be ok’. This gentle spirit allowed him to pass and become a Delta Society Pet Partner at only 1 ½ years old. | Buzz loved his walks in the woods or on the beach and when health robbed him of that he would sit in the window looking mournfully out until Mark would return with the two younger pups. Mark figures that they walked over 5,000 miles together.
We will miss his calming influence and sensitive spirit. Au revoir sweet boy.
Buzzy was from the AM/CAN Ch Waterford Show Off ROM and Ch Harborlight Forget-Me-Not JH OA OAJ litter bred by Marsha Henkel and we co-owned Buzzy with Carol and Patrick McGarry.

TALIA
              CH Harborlight Fashionably Late, CGC(2/28/05 - 11/11/17)
My beautiful Talia - the light pink puppy - was my sweetest and most devoted girl. Though her life took her on an unexpected journey, with an injury that had her undergoing stem cell implants and later participating in a research study for stem cell implants; she finished her championship with two majors at 8 years of age, and surprising co-owner and breeder, Marsha Henkel, with an AOM at 11 years of age! |
She saw into my soul and was always comforting me through thick and thin with her gentle sweetness. Love you and missing you ever so, my Tally Sweets! ------ Chris Greene |

          | KAREN LOWE
 | Karen Lowe was a lifelong resident of the Colfax, WA, area. She had many interests including ceramics, quilting, photography, and painting. But perhaps one of her greatest
 loves was her Irish setters.
Daryl and Karen became member ofISCS in 1998.
Together they enjoyed traveling and competing at dog
shows. Their first Irish was Charlie, O'Deryn's Charles of Manning.
Then Karen soon became more interested in showing.
They acquired Denver, CH Eirecrest I'm a Country Boy,then Megan, CH Eirecrest Celtic Holiday.
Megan finished her campionship by going WB at the 2004 National Specialty.
Megan also produced two puppies born on the 4th of July.
Karen preferred one, while Daryl the other, so Sean,
GCH Ryeridge Rockets Red Glare, and Donovan,
CH Ryeridge Strike up the Band, were kept.
Tiffany, CH/Int CH Rendition Treasure at Ryeridge was
their next addition. Tiffany and Sean are with Daryl today.
Sadly, Donovan died of cancer not long before Karen passed away.

          | FLORI PAGE4/16/1937 - 4/3/2016
   | As a young girl, Flori spent her childhood in Minnesota. Her family always had dogs, but one dog in particular
was very special to her, Lady, an Irish Setter.
In 1971, a friend of Flori's informed her that she had
a litter of Irish Setter puppies. Flori insisted that we get
one, so Maggie came into our lives.  Two years later,
while dropping our daughters off for a Girl Scout camp out,
we noticed a dog obedience class in session at the park.
We entered Maggie in the class and she excelled.
Maggie started there in Novice Obedience, and when
we saw the Utility Dogs performing, we knew we
would have to peruse advanced obedience.
 Maggie earned her UD degree.
 Then next came Daisy,
"OTCH Sunshine Gatsby's Blue Love MH," followed by
Shasta, "CH, OTCH, Sunshine Shasta Daisy UDX, D, JH,
 AX, AXJ, RAE2, VCD."
When Shasta passed away we acquired Julie
"Setter Pointes Love Me Or Leave Me CD."
Julie was a constant companion to Flori during her illness.
They would sit together on the sofa much of the day,
Julie snuggled up close, her head always in Flori's lap.
When Flori was admitted into a memory care facility,
Julie visited her on an almost daily basis, and Flori
and many others there enjoyed Julie's friendship and
exuberant greetings. Flori so adored all of her dogs deeply.

Flori is survived by her husband, Fred, and her daughters
 Kathy Page and Lori Miller.

It is with great sadness that we announce that our boy, Rory, crossed the Rainbow Bridge. He was from the repeat litter –(Am. Can. Ch. Windntide Sand In My Genes CD, JH, RE, CGC, VC ~ “Moxie” and Am. Can. Ch. Westeriann Estrella Magic ~ “Mick”).
Thank you Carol McGarry! for sharing this boy with us.
Mr. Rory brought such an abundance of happiness and love into our family and we are forever grateful to you.
He had a brief venture in the show ring with Briana in Juniors but was much happier running along the beach or through the woods.  He had such exuberance for life. We will miss him beyond words.  Au revoir dear boy.

 Dec. 28, 2001 - Dec. 5, 2015
"Kari" was the first born of her litter.  She was a joy to live with, happy, outgoing & loved everything & everyone.   She is now at the bridge with all who have gone before her.  I miss her more than I can say.  Her son, Blaze is here to comfort me & is my last Irish.  There is much more I could say, but my eyes are filled with tears.  Sweet dreams, my precious girl. --Faye Weiler | Kari

 December 28, 2001-December 3, 2015.
Bayley came into our lives when we received her at 10 weeks and brought her over the mountains from Faye Weiler’s house.  She is a Hooli girl (Ch. Ballymera’s Whisperin’ Secrets and Ch. Eirecrest Summer Wind).
Although we didn’t show her, she was a champion in our hearts.  She did receive her Canine Good Citizen Certificate thanks to Dick handling her for the test.    She loved to play ball, swim, chase birds and bark to let us know she wanted attention.  We will miss her so and she will always be in our hearts.  Soft shamrocks.

Mick will be remembered for his presence, his children and grandchildren, & those eyes saying “let’s go!”
